[ TESTIMONIALS ]
Feel the joy of movement.
Motion is essential to life. The best forms of exercise develop multiple aspects – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual – and capabilities of the human being. Thus, for a given amount of practice time, the benefits are maximized.
Taijiquan (T'ai Chi Ch'uan) and Qigong (Ch'i Gung) have these far-reaching qualities. Through slow movements and focused awareness, your body relaxes, your mind clears, your emotions calm – everything connects. Consistent practice transfers the core Taiji principles of balance, coordination, and efficiency to all aspects of your life.
In certain cases, you will be taught simple postures and movements to train at home between visits. Doing so will prolong and deepen the effects of your treatments at the clinic. When you experience the benefits, additional opportunities to further enhance your progress can be arranged.
There are countless systems of Taijiquan and Qigong. My main practice and instruction is in Wu Hao Taiji†. I am a disciple and assistant of Master Liu Jishun, the fourth generation lineage holder of the Wu Hao Taiji tradition.
Public classes are held at De Anza College on Sunday mornings. You may also request
intensive small group or one-on-one private lessons to target specific interests.
